An Important Update from Yarde Book Promotions

After a great deal of thought, we have made the difficult decision to close Yarde Book Promotions and will no longer be accepting new paid bookings.

Over the years, Yarde has grown into something we are incredibly proud of. We have had the privilege of working with so many wonderful authors, publishers and fellow book bloggers, and of helping to introduce countless books to readers around the world. We have made some wonderful friendships along the way, and we will always be enormously grateful for the trust authors have placed in us and their incredible support of Yarde.

What happens to existing paid bookings?

If you have already paid for a booking with Yarde Book Promotions, please don't worry. All existing paid bookings will be honoured.

This also applies if you have paid for a promotion but we are still waiting for your book's release date or have not yet scheduled your promotion.

There is no need to rush to confirm a date because of this announcement. Your booking remains in place, and we can arrange everything when your book is ready.

For that reason, Yarde Book Promotions isn't going to disappear overnight. You will continue to see tours, promotions and other previously booked features appearing on the blog while we fulfil all our existing paid commitments.

The only immediate change is that we are no longer accepting new paid bookings.

A new chapter

For both of us, the time feels right to begin a new chapter.

Ellie has recently started a fabulous new job and is thoroughly enjoying this next stage of her career, while Mary Anne will be returning to writing full time.

After spending so many years championing other authors and their books, we are excited about what comes next.

Wednesday Book Spotlights will continue!

Although Yarde Book Promotions is closing as a paid promotional service, we don't intend to disappear from the book community altogether.

From 2027, we will continue to offer a small number of FREE Wednesday Book Spotlights here on the blog.

If you would like your book to be considered for one of our free Wednesday Book Spotlights, please get in touch from January 2027 onwards. Spaces will be limited and offered subject to availability.

Finally, we want to say an enormous thank you to everyone who has been part of Yarde Book Promotions.

To every author who has trusted us with their book, joined one of our tours, booked a promotion, returned to us with their next novel, recommended Yarde to another author, shared our posts or simply supported what we do — thank you.

Yarde has been an enormous part of our lives, and we are incredibly proud of what we have built and the wonderful community that has grown around it.

This isn't quite goodbye. We still have plenty of existing commitments to fulfil and lots of wonderful books to shout about.

And, of course, Wednesdays aren't going anywhere. 📚❤️
