After several years with 'commercial' publishers I decided to become an independent publisher, as I wanted full control over every step of the process - and to keep 100% of my book royalties. I have published fourteen books in eBook, paperback, hardcover and audiobook editions, as well as translations into French, Spanish and Portuguese, of which eight have been awarded 'best-seller' status.
You can self-publish your eBooks and paperbacks for free with Kindle Direct Publishing, and reach millions of readers on Amazon – but quality control is an essential part of book conversion. Amazon has strict quality requirements and readers are used to eBooks and paperbacks prepared by publishers for professional authors, so it’s essential that your books meet the highest standards of layout and design.
I offer conversion support for only $99 or £75 per book using specialist Vellum publishing software, to include minor changes and customer support. Your edited Word document will be fully formatted as a paperback pdf and eBook epub and Mobi files for uploading to your own Amazon publishing account, so you have full control.
