There's something about secrets from the past coming back to cause trouble that always gets me! Henri sounds thoroughly unpleasant, which probably means he'll be great fun to read about. Seventeenth-century France, family rivalries and plenty of scheming — definitely my sort of historical fiction.
ReplyDeleteHenri sounds like someone you wouldn't want anywhere near your family! I do like a good villain though, and this sounds full of trouble.
