Why choose The Coffee Pot Book Club?

The Coffee Pot Book Club Book Award Badge has become a trusted badge of recognition for quality Historical Fiction and Historical Romance.

What is an editorial review?

Unlike a book review, an editorial review is written by professional readers who will compare your book to a professional standard, regardless of how it is published.

Editorial reviews give your book legitimacy and they are packed with quotable sentences you can use for marketing purposes. Editorial reviews are often used on the front of book covers, and on the editorial review page inside your book. You can also add your editorial review to the review section of your website, as well as your book's editorial review page on Amazon.

Editorial reviews help to sell books!

Cathie Dunn is a writer of award-winning Historical Fiction and Romance.

Following on from her early experiences as a critique partner, well over a decade ago, she began to review novels she enjoyed reading. To that effect, she set up a – now defunct – blog to share her thoughts with readers.

In around 2009, Cathie joined the Historical Novel Society as a reviewer, and was thrilled when her first submitted review made it to ‘Editor’s Choice’. She reviewed Historical Fiction titles for the HNS for several years.

Cathie has been an active book reviewer for a number of blog tour providers on both sides of the Atlantic for the last eight years, and she has also posted personal reviews to her own blogs. She enjoys reading a wide range of fiction, from Historical Romance to Mysteries to Contemporary Thrillers, although Historical Fiction remains her big love.

Cathie lives in the south of France with her husband, two cats and a rescue dog.

Jennifer C. Wilson

She is a keen book-blogger, taking part in numerous book blog tours at her website and loves both reacquainting herself with her favourite eras, and exploring new ones.
